The EZ D-Cube Patient Positioner makes it so easy to move a patient from the supine to a left or right lateral position to accommodate a crosstable lateral decubitus chest or abdomen x-ray procedure.
Holds a patient comfortably, safely, and on an even plane while turning him or her onto their side. Once the patient is in position they are resting on a pad designed to elevate them above the plane of the x-ray cassette, ensuring that the entire anatomy will appear on the radiograph for a chest procedure. For the decubitus abdomen simply move the Velcro-attached pad to hold the cassette higher than the patient to ensure that all the anatomy will appear on the x-ray. Weight: 11 lb
Adjustable cassette slot
The soft, antimicrobial pad is removable for easy cleaning. It is adjustable to open or close the cassette slot formed by the side of the pad and the back of the EZ D-Cube. For chest exams, it should be open to allow the radiograph to be below the rib angle. For decubitus abdomen exams, it should be closed to elevate the cassette above the upside of patient to include the entire abdomen.
