K8 Nuke Safeguard Miniature Alarming System

The K8 is a small discreet alarming ratemeter capable of detecting even very small amounts of radiation and radioactive materials. The Green LED indicates the presence of radiation. A Red LED and Audible Alarm indicate high-level radiation. The Red LED and Audible Alarm threshold is preset to 5 mrem/hr but can also be "custom set" per special request. Does not record or display cumulative dose.
