Lead-Lined Sharps Shield

A simple solution to the hazard of syringe disposal in the nuclear imaging department. Lined with 1/8" lead, shields accomodate small or medium Monoject or Winfield containers, or BD Guardian containers. The Sharps shield houses two containers simultaneously for decay rotation. All lead-lined Sharps shields, for single and dual containers, have a lead-lined top with sliding port for syringe disposal. A swing handle allows easy transport of shield and container. When full, containers that have not yet decayed can be transferred to a decay module. Weight: Approx. 50 lb.
