Long-Leg Filters

During single-exposure radiography of the lower abdomen, pelvis and legs, our Long-Leg Filter reduces excessive radiation to the less-dense tissue and provides unsurpassed image uniformity. Gradient-speed screens are eliminated. Model 207024 is for ceiling-mounted sources, has a built-in acrylic mounting plate and can be permanently attached at the beam-exit port of the fixed cone. Model 207025 is for conventional X-ray sources, requires a Filter Holder Assembly; radiographs are taken at 72 inches or more. XIS filters are for full length leg, weight bearing studies, etc.
