The BF5A Doppler Blood Flow Detector Ultrasound StethoscopeŽ is ideally suited for study of flow in the arteries and veins located near the body surface. Useful in the diagnosis of peripheral vascular disease and as an adjunct in vascular microsurgery. The BF5A operates at an ultrasound frequency of approximately 8 MHz. The instrument is powered by a 9 volt alkaline battery, weighs 6 ounces, and is 5.6 x 2.6 x 0.9 inches. The case is rugged Lexan and contains integral transducers and solid state circuitry.
Contains two outputs to drive one or two headsets, a speaker, or one headset and a tape recorder. Battery, headset, and carrying case included.
