Octostop Chair Upright Chest Immobilizer
The chair provides an easy, fast immobilization device for premature and infant upright chest X-rays. Adjustable cassette holder permits precise cassette placement for maximum coverage.
The child’s arms are immobilized with the body to the radiolucent board to ensure easy positioning. The chair can be rotated about its axis and indexed every 45 degrees for oblique and lateral views. The child can be laid flat quickly in case of sickness or to release them from the apparatus. Large cooperative children can sit without restraint in the chair for their chest X-ray. With the addition of a head cushion and the hook and loop chin strap, sinus examinations may be performed upright.
