OMNI-POZ Passive Cassette Positioner

Mobile, compact, and lightweight, the technologist-designed OMNI-POZ is ideally suited for obtaining that difficult view on the comprised patient.

Originally designed for lateral chest radiography on non-ambulatory wheelchair patients, the OMNI-POZ has proven useful in cross-table lateral views on trauma patients, wheelchair uprights of the abdomen, stress views of the ankle, cross-table laterals of the knee, vertical-beam radiography of the navicular and stretcher laterals of the chest and cervical spine. May be used with flexible film holders for axillary shoulders and lateromedial hips, where patient size does not indicate a grid.

The OMNI-POZ can also provide that much-needed helping hand in surgery. It is small enough to fit in a sterile cassette drape and can be rested on its side to hold a 24 x 24 cm (9.5 x 9.5") cassette in a vertical position.
