Sunrise Extender

The Sunrise Extender is a simple, easy to use alternative to the Merchant Board. It consists of a cylindrical foam pillow with two evenly spaced straps with extruders at the ends which clip onto the image receptor. To adjust the length of the straps, simply roll the pillow backwards. The Sunrise Extender works with any size image receptor and allows the patient to lie comfortably on their back for the duration of the exam, effectively "extending" their reach by adding approximately 6 inches of length between the patient’s hands and the image receptor (as shown in the photo.)
