CT Radioprotective Brassiere

The AttenuRad CT Radioprotective Brassiere has been optimized to a thickness of 4 plys to provide maximum protection to breast tissue while preventing artifact in the diagnostic portion of a thoracic CT image. The brassiere consists of two large panels and adhesive strips. Each panel is specially-designed to form-fit the curvatures of the supine body regardless of the patient’s size, providing maximum radiation protection to the medial upper breast, the armpit and other radiosensitive areas. The breast shield allows approximately a 50% dose savings to the breast.
